Łukasiewicz Research Network and ORLEN Synthos Green Energy (OSGE) will cooperate in developing the advancement of small modular reactors (SMRs) in Poland. Dr Eng. Marcin Kulasek, Minister of Science and Higher Education, emphasised the importance of this collaboration: “If we want to think seriously about the future, we must develop the technologies of the future — and that is exactly what the small modular reactor sector represents.” - News

Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP hosted participants of the Postgraduate Studies in Defence Policy (PSPO) at the War Studies University in Warsaw. These studies are intended for officers and representatives of institutions responsible for state security, combining strategic knowledge with first-hand exposure to key actors in the defence system. The Łukasiewicz – PIAP Institute is one of the key partners in the European consortium implementing the iMUGS2 project, which aims to deliver a new generation of interoperable unmanned ground systems. Selected by the European Commission for funding under the European Defence Fund (EDF), the project brings together 29 partners from 15 EU Member States. - News

During the New Mobility Congress 2025 in Katowice, the Łukasiewicz Research Network and local governments signed a letter of intent to begin work on the New Mobility Center (CNM). The Łukasiewicz Center and Łukasiewicz – Institute of Electrical Engineering have accepted a letter of intent from the Military Central Construction and Technology Office S.A. (WCBKT), a company belonging to the Polish Armaments Group (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, PGZ). The agreement paves the way for joint research and development work in the areas of national security and energy transformation. The management of Łukasiewicz and PGZ signed the document during the 33rd International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce. - News
