We've opened a unique laboratory at the Centre for Environmental Engineering
The Centre for Environmental Engineering in Opole is part of the Kraków-based Łukasiewicz Institute for Ceramics and Building Materials. As the only accredited laboratory in Europe, the Centre performs tests for the calculation of biogenic CO₂ using the radiocarbon method. - NewsNews25 Oct 2024

Łukasiewicz institutes present an offer for the defence sector
Eleven Łukasiewicz institutes are presenting an offer of technologies, services, equipment, weapons and armaments for the army and uniformed services during the XXXII International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO on three stands. The institutes, representing various branches of the research and development industry, are presenting dozens of exhibits. These include explosive charges and grenades, ceramic cartridges for bulletproof vests, electronic components, and even a ship's electric motor. Łukasiewicz will help to study gravitational waves and dark matter
AstroCeNT, or the Scientific and Technological Centre for Particle Astrophysics, has been awarded EUR 15 million for a project under the International Research Agendas run by the Foundation for Polish Science. The Łukasiewicz Centre also takes part in the consortium carrying out research concerning gravitational waves and dark matter.
