Wiesław Skwarko
Vice President
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Trade at SGPiS (now the Warsaw School of Economics) and completed a postgraduate program at the same institution on “Economic Issues in the Electric Power Sector.” He also completed a program in Teacher Education (specialization: training of university faculty). He completed a research internship at the Norwegian Business School in Bergen. He has participated in numerous specialized courses in financial analysis and valuation.
He began his professional career at the Institute of International Marketing at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). He was a Partner and Director at Access Sp. z o.o., a Member of the Management Board at Rothschild Corporate Finance Polska, Director of the Privatization Office at Nafta Polska S.A., and Director of Financial Strategy at the CTL Logistics Group. In subsequent years, he served as a Member of the Management Board and Liquidator at Nafta Polska S.A. and as Vice President of the Management Board at Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. He also served as President of the Management Board of the Kędzierzyn-Koźle Industrial Park. In recent years, he ran his own business and served as Director of Strategy, Development, and Finance at the Polish Center for Testing and Certification S.A.
Wiesław Skwarko also served on supervisory boards. He was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zakłady Azotowe w Tarnowie-Mościcach S.A., Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn S.A., and LOTOS Group S.A. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Łukasiewicz Network Institute—the “Blachownia” Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis. He is a licensed securities broker and has passed the examination required for candidates for membership on supervisory boards of State Treasury-owned companies.
