The Łukasiewicz Research Network connects entrepreneurs with scientists in a simple way. An entrepreneur who is looking for an innovative solution for his or her company can ‘challenge’ the Łukasiewicz Research Network. All that is to be done is filling in a simple form on the website and the experts at Łukasiewicz will take care of the rest. This formula is aimed at any entrepreneur, regardless of scale or ownership structure.
The client defines the problem. Our scientific teams consider whether it can be solved by developing a new technology. If so, we offer the client a specific funding model, decide how to share the intellectual property, create the solution, test it and deliver it to the client.
How does the Challenge system work? Since its inception, we have received 3007 of these from 1,421 companies. Last year alone, 1,093 challenges were received, 78% of which came from business. We found a solution for half of them.
How does it work?
- Go to https://lukasiewicz.gov.pl/en/business/ and fill in a simple form. It will take you a few minutes. If you have any further questions, we will contact you.
- Our engineers will analyse the problem and report back ready to accept the challenge.
- We will meet so that our researchers can get all the necessary information from you before they start working on a solution.
- Once they have worked it out, they will present it to you via video conference. They will also answer your questions.
- Time for you to make your move. The whole process has so far been free of charge, you will now decide whether you want to take advantage of the proposed solution and work with us on mutually agreed terms.
