MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience (according to the Minister of Science and Higher Education) – preferred majors: international relations, European studies, political science, economics, management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an international environment, particularly in the area of research and innovation.
- Experience in working with EU institutions, particularly the European Commission or its agencies.
- Experience in EU-funded projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, EUREKA, Erasmus+).
- Experience in representing the institution in an international environment (meetings, events, working groups).
- Experience in building and developing relationships with foreign partners.
- Experience in analyzing public policies or preparing materials for policy makers at the strategic level.
- Very good knowledge of the EU research and innovation system and project funding mechanisms.
- Knowledge of EU policies (R&I, industry, digitization, energy).
- Ability to identify opportunities for collaboration and build project partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to report synthetically.
- Ability to represent the institution in an international environment.
- Willingness to be regularly present in Brussels (working visits, meetings, industry events).
- Languages: English – min. C1 spoken and written; French – min. B2/C1 spoken and written.
- Proficient in the use of office tools and systems to support project management and reporting.
- High interpersonal skills and ease of establishing and maintaining relationships in an international environment.
- Ability to work in a complex institutional environment, under time pressure and with simultaneous implementation of multiple projects.
- Self-reliance, good work organization and goal orientation.
- Openness to intercultural cooperation and willingness to represent the institution in international contacts.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex design, legal and organizational issues.
- High personal culture, professional ethics and responsibility for assigned tasks.
Nice to have
- Ph.D. degree (especially in the area of public policies, EU, innovation).
- Experience working or interning in Brussels / EU institutions.
- Experience in preparing international projects and consortia.

The Lukasiewicz Center is a state legal entity established to plan and coordinate scientific research and development work carried out by the Network Institutes, such as conducting applied research and development work.

Daily tasks
- Represent the Lukasiewicz Research Network in the international environment, in particular in relations with European Union institutions (including the European Commission) and foreign partners.
- Coordination and development of international cooperation, with particular emphasis on activities carried out in Brussels and participation in European initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key international partners (research institutions, administration, industry organizations, delegations in Brussels).
- Identify opportunities to participate in EU programs and other instruments supporting research, innovation and international cooperation, and initiate project partnerships.
- Participation in the preparation, review and negotiation of funding applications for R&D projects and international agreements.
- Monitor EU policies in the areas of research, innovation and industry and prepare analyses, recommendations and briefing materials for management.
- Participation in meetings, working groups, industry events and networking initiatives at home and abroad.
- Substantive support for international projects, including implementation and commercialization ventures.
- Collaborate with funding institutions, industry partners and experts on project development and internationalization.
- Support activities related to the promotion of the technological offer of the Lukasiewicz Network in international markets.
- Identify risks associated with the implementation of international projects and propose countermeasures.
- Reporting and analyzing the effectiveness of activities in the area of international cooperation and European projects.
