- Execution of research assignments: both internal and for external clients
- Ensuring selected research equipment remains in operational readiness
- Performing basic service tasks under the supervision of experienced specialists
- Operating research equipment, including (depending on acquired competencies) optical lithography systems, plasma etching tools (ICP-RIE), thin-film deposition systems (magnetron sputtering, electron-beam evaporation, ALD), and ellipsometers
- Documenting and reporting completed technological processes
- Contributing to the implementation of scientific and development projects
- Participation in activities related to the development of integrated photonic circuit technologies
- Compliance with health and safety standards and clean room laboratory procedures
