Cezary Możeński

From 1981 to 2022, I was an employee of the Łukasiewicz – New Chemical Syntheses Institute in Puławy. At the institute, I rose through the ranks until I became its director, a position I held for 10 years, from 2007 to 2017.

Education

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology at the Kraków University of Technology. I earned my Ph.D. in technical sciences from the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology.

Experience

I am the creator of innovative technological solutions that have been sold under license and implemented in industry both in Poland and abroad, as well as the author of numerous scientific publications and patents.

As director of the Development and Investment Division at Zakłady Azotowe “Puławy” S.A. and director of the institute, I led teams responsible for implementing major investment and development projects. I currently also serve as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe “Puławy” S.A. I have also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of PKN Orlen S.A., the Scientific Council of the Institute of Chemical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), the General Council of Research Institutes, the Council of the Polish Chamber of the Chemical Industry, and the Committee on Chemical and Process Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).
