General information


The Łukasiewicz Research Network undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. The accessibility declaration applies to the Łukasiewicz Research Network website.

Status in terms of compliance with the act

The website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies due to the following areas of non-compliance and exceptions.


Inaccessible content

Some elements of the website have too low contrast for aesthetic reasons (slides). Videos on the website do not have subtitles, audiodescription or alternative content for persons with visual and hearing disabilities. All the above issues will be successively resolved. The PDF and DOC documents published on the website are written in a way that is inaccessible to persons with impaired vision. Documents are systematically supplemented with either accessible PDF and DOC versions or text versions.

  • contact details of the person making the request,
  • indication of the page or element of the page to which the request relates,
  • indication of a convenient form in which the information can be made accessible if the request concerns making inaccessible content accessible in an alternative form.

The request shall be processed promptly, not longer than within 7 days. If it is not possible to provide accessibility or provide an alternative form within this period, it will be done within 2 months of the date of notification at the latest.

Complaints and appeals

Where a public body refuses to comply with a request to provide accessibility or an alternative means of accessing the information, the requester may lodge a complaint about the provision of accessibility to a digital website, mobile application or an element of the website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, a request may also be made to the Polish Ombudsman.

Regarding the provisions of Art. 13 par. 1 an 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), below we present information and rules on the processing of personal data by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Krakow Institute of Technology.

Purpose of processing
Your personal data will be processed by the Institute for the purpose of conducting future recruitments for positions at the Łukasiewicz Centre and at institutes belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network, as referred to in the Łukasiewicz Research Network Act of 21 February 2019.

Legal basis for processing
The Institute processes your personal data on the basis of 6 par. 1 a) GDPR and if you include in your application sensitive personal data referred to in Art 9 par. 1 GDPR, based on Art. 9 par. 2 a) GDPR – that is, based on your consent to the processing of personal data.

Scope of personal data
The scope of processed personal data is defined in particular by Art. 221 of the Labour Code.

The provision of data is voluntary.

Exercise of rights
You have the right to request access to your data, the right to rectify or supplement it, to request its erasure in cases provided for by law, to restrict its processing, the right to object to the processing of personal data the provision of which is voluntary, and the right to withdraw consent to its processing at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent given before the withdrawal. In order to exercise the rights listed above, please send your request to: daneosobowe@kit.lukasiewicz.gov.pl , by post to the Institute’s registered office, or in person at the Institute’s registered office. Before you exercise your rights, we will need to confirm your identity
in a manner individually adjusted to the request. If you think that the Institute’s processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, 2 Stawki street, 00-193 Warsaw.

Data recipients
Recipients of your personal data may be:
- companies servicing the Institute’s equipment and software used to process job applicants’ data;
- providers of job advertisement publication services or providers of recruitment management systems (e.g. pracuj.pl, eRecruiter);
- courier companies through which correspondence with job applicants is conducted;
- Łukasiewicz Centre and institutes belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network, as referred to in the Act on the Łukasiewicz Research Network of 21 February 2019.

Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area and to international organisations.
