
Jakub Gadek
Łukasiewicz – Institute for Sustainable Technologies
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Technical Physics, Informatics and Applied Mathematics of the Technical University of Lodz. He obtained a Ph.D. in technical sciences in computer science at the same faculty. He completed MBA studies at the Cracow University of Economics. He is a graduate of the Academy of Science Managers organised by the Foundation for Polish Science.
Experience
He has managed numerous teams. He worked as a coordinator of science and technology at the National Science Centre in Krakow. He represented NCN in the international arena. He was a member of the Science Europe “Research Careers Working Group” where he contributed to the development of European science policy. He has managed numerous projects. He was a deputy director of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Electrical Engineering. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the NASK National Research Institute and an expert of the European Commission, NCBR, CPPC, PARP and several Regional Operational Programmes.
Passion
Photography has been his passion for many years. He is a photographer himself and is interested in the history and modernity of this means of artistic expression. He is a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. Apart from that, he relaxed while gardening, swimming and reading.
