Marcin Górski

Dr. Marcin Górski, a professor at the University of Lodz and a legal counselor, is an academic and experienced manager. Since 2006, he has led staff teams, and from 2012 to 2025 he served as director of the Legal Department of the City of Lodz. Professor Górski is the author of nearly 200 scientific publications and is a Fulbright Scholar at Fordham University in New York. He has also served as an ad hoc judge of the European Court of Human Rights since 2024.
In turn, the position of Deputy Director for Research at Lukasiewicz – LIT was assumed by Prof. Renata Zyla, a postdoctoral fellow in technical sciences, who has worked at the Institute for more than 20 years and is director of the Center for Closed Circuit Economy at Lukasiewicz – LIT. She conducts research and development work in the broad field of water and wastewater management. She specializes in technologies for the treatment of industrial wastewater and the removal of hazardous substances from water, particularly using membrane and deep oxidation techniques. Co-author of more than 30 JCR-listed publications.
