The agreement, signed on May 15, 2025, outlines a framework for collaboration in the development and implementation of advanced digital solutions that will enhance the efficiency, transparency, and sustainability of water resource management.

“This partnership is a significant step toward modernizing the infrastructure and processes that govern Poland’s water economy,” said Hubert Cichocki, CEO of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
“Our goal is to provide Wody Polskie with cutting-edge technologies that will enable data-driven decision-making and improve the resilience of water systems in the face of climate change.”

The cooperation will focus on several key areas, including the development of digital platforms for real-time monitoring of water levels and quality, predictive analytics for flood risk management, and the integration of artificial intelligence in water infrastructure planning.
Łukasiewicz Research Network will also support Wody Polskie in building digital competency and implementing best practices in digital transformation.

According to Przemysław Daca, President of Wody Polskie, the collaboration with Łukasiewicz is a response to the growing need for innovation in the water sector.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the Łukasiewicz Research Network to support public institutions and enterprises in their digital transformation journeys.
