Dr hab. Grzegorz Gudzbeler, Professor at the University of Warsaw, is a recognized expert in modern technologies, IT systems, security, and advanced simulation environments.

As a former member of the Polish Police senior officer corps and an officer of the Border Guard, he has a distinctive understanding of the needs of Poland’s uniformed services.

Since 2023, he has served as Deputy Director for Quality and Commercialization at Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology, where he was responsible for improving the quality of research, developing R&D activities, and overseeing technology commercialization processes.

He is a Professor at the University of Warsaw and the author of numerous scientific publications on simulation technologies, artificial intelligence, CBRN threat detection systems, and IT in security. He has participated in more than 60 national and international R&D projects, including programs funded by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), Horizon 2020, and FP7. In many of these projects, he served as a project manager or as a leader of research teams.

From 2013 to 2017, he was the Director of the Research and Development Institute of the Police Academy in Szczytno, where he co-created and implemented innovative technological solutions for the needs of the services. He actively participated in the work of numerous expert bodies, including scientific and technical councils at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration (MSWiA) and the National Police Headquarters, as well as working groups related to National Smart Specializations.

He combines extensive academic, technological, and managerial experience, which he leverages to build research and implementation capacity.
