
Michał Arabski
Associate Professor, Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce
Habilitated doctor of biological sciences, specialty biophysics. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection at the University of Łódź and the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the Medical University of Łódź. Head of the Department of Medical Biology at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. An employee of the Time and Length Department of the Central Office of Measures in Warsaw as an expert.
His scientific activity concerns the use of biophysical and biochemical methods in the assessment of the biological properties of nanocompounds, biopolymers and recombinant proteins of potential clinical significance. In his research, he develops application of the laser interferometry method in the study of the transport and interaction of biomolecules. His scientific achievements include over 70 scientific papers, participation in over 90 national and international conferences and 12 projects including grants from of the National Science Center, Ministry of Education and Science or European Cooperation in Science and Technology action. He completed training and scientific internships, among others. in France and Spain. Author of numerous expert opinions and reviews.
Member of the Main Board of the Polish Biophysical Society. In recent years, he has been a member of the Interdisciplinary Team for projects submitted under the “Support for Scientific Journals” program, the Advisory Team for the evaluation of applications for scholarships of the minister responsible for higher education and science for students and outstanding young scientists, the Advisory Team for doctoral schools of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, an expert of the National Science Center, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Biology of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
