Dean of the Faculty of Materials Technology and Textile Design at the Lodz University of Technology

Professor of engineering and technical sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Materials Technology and Textile Design at the Lodz University of Technology.

Scientific interests relate to the construction of physical and mathematical models, including statistical models describing the properties of linear textile products with extended surfaces. Scientific achievements in the field of textiles resulted in numerous citations in JCR journals and thus the unambiguous constitution of the position of authority in the field of materials technology of a fibrous structure. The monograph published in 2019 in English entitled “Fancy Threads” is a summary of many years of research.

She is a member of the Team Identifying Members of the Council of the National Science Center and the Chairwoman of the Scientific Council of the Lodz Institute of Technology – Łukasiewicz Research Network.

She has completed numerous foreign scientific internships, e.g. in France, Belgium, Australia and the USA. Her scientific achievements mainly concern the implementation of numerous research projects financed by the National Science Centre, the National Center for Research and Development and the European Commission. In addition, he is a reviewer of numerous, renowned journals from the Philadelphia List.
