The group is funded by the European Research Area Network (ERA-Net), the EU Joint Programme for Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND), and the National Science Centre (NCN, Poland).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will work on a well-funded research project focused on the role of microglial metabolism in resilience against neuropsychiatric disorders. The position involves highly translational research within a dynamic and collaborative international research environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","profession":[],"location":[],"institute":[],"experience_level":[],"class_list":["post-78181","job_offers","type-job_offers","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"benefits":"","responsibilities":"","requirements":"<p>\u2022 PhD degree in\u00a0Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Neurobiology, or\u00a0Biotechnology.<br \/>\n\u2022 Advanced written and spoken proficiency in\u00a0English.<br \/>\n\u2022 Proven research track record demonstrated by\u00a0peer-reviewed publications.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to\u00a0plan, execute, and supervise experimental work involving core molecular biology techniques (e.g. RNA\/DNA extraction, RT-qPCR, Western blotting, cell culture and manipulation).<br \/>\n\u2022 Willingness and ability to\u00a0travel, exchange know-how, and present research internationally<br \/>\nAdditional requirements:<br \/>\nThe candidate must meet the requirements of the NCN project Regulations, in\u00a0particular by\u00a0obtaining their doctoral degree in\u00a0the year of employment in\u00a0the project or\u00a0within 7 years prior to\u00a01 January of the year of employment in\u00a0the project.<br \/>\nThis period may be\u00a0extended by\u00a0the time spent during that interval on\u00a0long-term (over 90 days) documented sick leave or\u00a0on\u00a0rehabilitation benefits due to\u00a0incapacity for work. Additionally, it may be\u00a0extended by\u00a0the number of months spent on\u00a0childcare-related leave granted under the Labour Code.
