As of April 2019, it is a part of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network, the largest research network in Poland.&nbsp;<\/strong>The Institute conducts scientific research and performs developmental work in the fields of micro- and nano-electronics, materials engineering, optoelectronics and nanophotonics, microwave electronics, power electronics, transparent and flexible electronics. The Institute implements and disseminates the results of these works in the economy, being open to cooperation with entrepreneurs. The scope of the Institute\u2019s operations includes in particular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>development of the design and production technology of micro- and opto-electronic solid-state devices, including: microwave and photonic discrete elements, detectors and sensors, integrated circuits microsystems and electronic subassemblies, and microelectronic hybrid systems power devices, diffraction elements;<\/li><li>development of methods for the design of micro- and optoelectronic solid-state devices, and development of new methods for characterization materials, structures and solid-state devices;<\/li><li>development of technologies for the production of new materials, such as, silicon carbide, epitaxial graphene, flake graphene, ceramic-metal composites, advanced ceramics, as well as testing their properties for industrial use;<\/li><li>standardization, certification, and approval activities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The research at the Institute is organized around technology lines for: optoelectronic subassemblies, silicon subassemblies, wide band gap semiconductor subassemblies, and the LTCC technology. These states of the arts lines enable the scientific community to participate in research, and entrepreneurs to develop new solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the establishment of the&nbsp;<strong>Center of Silicon Microelectronics<\/strong>, we are looking for candidates for the newly created position of&nbsp;<strong>Area Leader \u2013 Director of the Center of Silicon Microelectronics<\/strong>, who will be responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Supervising the Center\u2019s research and development activity.<\/li><li>Developing and implementing the Center\u2019s growth strategy in line with the Institute\u2019s strategy.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","profession":[327],"location":[305,316],"institute":[279],"experience_level":[],"class_list":["post-43434","archiwum-ofert-pracy","type-archiwum-ofert-pracy","status-publish","hentry","profession-br-en","location-masovia","location-warsaw","institute-lukasiewicz-institute-of-microelectronics-and-photonics"],"acf":{"external_url":"https:\/\/system.erecruiter.pl\/FormTemplates\/RecruitmentForm.aspx?WebID=802c876cc0c84bfda01c23225a0aaf11","salary_from":"","salary_to":"","additionals":"","requirements":"<ol>\n<li>A PhD degree in electronics, solid-state physics, semiconductor physics or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Five years of experience in research and development, including leading research projects on one\u2019s own.<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge of semiconductor technologies of the last five years (publications, patents, implementations, projects), including in particular of silicon technology, MEMS devices and assembly of microelectronics.<\/li>\n<li>At least two years of experience in managing a team consisting of 20 or more employees.<\/li>\n<li>At least two years of experience in managing a large research infrastructure: a technological line to manufacture semiconductor devices, as well as cleanroom laboratories.<\/li>\n<li>At least a one-month internship in technological laboratories in an overseas center other than the main workplace in the last 10 years.<\/li>\n<li>Well-organized, able to meet deadlines and responsible.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in winning, executing and leading R&amp;D projects where financing has been granted by way of public tender;
